Great location close to transport links and major attractions. The breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. We also appreciated the complementary toiletries and towels that were restocked daily.
Our room was smaller than expected and there was no coffee or tea facilities available. In addition, the value for money wasn't the best compared to other hotels in the area. The lack of leaflets and maps about local attractions in the lobby was also a bit disappointing.

The breakfast was complimentary and there was free Wi-Fi available. The location was very central and just a short walk away from some major attractions. We also enjoyed the on-site restaurant with great food and drinks.
The décor felt outdated and worn down and the room was quite small. We also experienced some issues with the plumbing in the bathroom. The overall experience was just okay and we probably wouldn't stay here again.

Our room was immaculate and bright, available with great decor, a great view. Location: the hotel was right by Capitol Hill, the Union Station and the sightseeing places in DC.

The location was ideal, close to University of Washington. There was an excellent restaurant within walking distance of the hotel.

Very impressed with standard queen room with at least windows's. Early check-in and fast check-out, parking nearby. No charge for wake up service and ironing too.

The location was marvellous, within walking distance of The World. I loved the room with at least windows's. The check-in was early and the atmosphere was quiet overall.

I like the proximatey to the Capital and the Mall and to Union Station. Taxi fares to other parts of the city are not to bad and the metro is right there at Union Station.
There is no shopping near by. This is a business and residential area for government.

This hotel is is very conveniently located just a few minutes walk from Union Station. The rooms are comfortable and staff helpful. The Irish pub is friendly and meals are reasonably priced.

The location was excellent, just a few minutes walk from Union station and in sight of the Capitol Building, so a great base for seeing dc. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were polite and efficient. Free, fast wifi and a decent size hd tv were also good.
The room was one of the smallest I have been in the us and the highly patterned wallpaper and carpet made it feel a little claustrophobic, especially as there was only one small window with no appreciable view out of it.

The hotel and the staff were great. The location, a short block from Union Station and the Capital is fantastic. The building is very sturdy. I was there through Tropical Storm Irene and could not hear the wind and rain unless I opened the window. I was on the quiet side of the hotel, so I cannot speak for being on the main streets. The bed was comfy and the room, though small, had all I needed. The hotel had flashlights for guests in case the power went out during the storm. Check out was at 1:00 pm, which was really lovely as my flight out was late in the afternoon. I was able to enjoy the morning without worrying about being ready to go. The restaurant associated with the hotel is "The Dubliner". The food is only average, but they offer a late night menu from 11pm til 1am. If you are flying in late and are from the west coast, this is a real plus. You can at least get something to eat and the bar has unlimited beer and whiskey options!!
The bedroom was small and would have been too small for 2 people! The bathroom had no real counter space. It was fine for one person, but would have not been comfortable for 2.

We were traveling from Australia and we booked at last minute for trip to washington. The location was perfect close to transit centre. And walking distance The hotel was clean and room comfortable and supplies good
We found the dinning area/the Dubliner pub disappointing, The staff were rude and not professional, would not be recommending this as a good Irish welcome as per the mission statement,
